Celebration of Eisenhower’s 125th birthday

Eisenhower will be part of a state-wide celebration of Eisenhower’s 125th birthday. It is sponsored by the Eisenhower Foundation in Abilene, KS. We are trying to find out the history behind our school. Why was it named Eisenhower? Was the street name in front of the school changed to coincide with the name of the school?

Homecoming October 2 Early Dismissal

USD 211 will dismiss school at 2:00 p.m. on October 2 for Homecoming activities. Buses will run at that time. This early release was not on the calendar. Please make arrangements for your student on this day. Once again we will dismiss at 2:00 pm on October 2 for Homecoming activities.

FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK BUS SHUTTLE: There is a pick-up spot for morning routes that will be on Horace Greeley Avenue, which is the parking lot for the Norton Manor. The bus will arrive there daily at approximately 7:45 am. The bus will depart as soon as all waiting students have boarded and the students will be taken directly to the Eisenhower Elementary School. September 4, 2015 We are finishing up the second week of classes with our students. Activities are underway in the junior high and high school. The junior high and high school students are adjusting to their new Chromebooks. It will take a little while to work out some of the kinks.
