Shortened Quarantine Guidelines

Norton County has partially adopted the CDC’s shortened quarantine guidelines. In the past, any close contacts were quarantined for 14 days from last contact. We have adopted the shortened 10 day quarantine instead of the previous 14. Households will only be 10 days after the case is released from isolation compared to previously 14 days. Non-households are 10 days from last contact with the case. As a reminder, it is important to note that individuals should continue to self-monitor for symptoms for the entire 14 day incubation period.
