FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK KANSAS’ BIRTHDAY: Kansas Day is Wednesday, January 29, 2020. Kansas will be 159 years old. Have your child/children tell you what they have learned about the State. FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK AVERAGE DAILY ATTENDANCE (ADA): School attendance is a very important part of the student’s school record. There is a high correlation between attendance and personal reliability. Regular and punctual attendance by all students is necessary for the proper functioning of the entire school. Illness Reminders 2020

Norton Community Schools would like to remind parents and guardians of our illness guidelines. Students may return to school after the following criteria is met: *Vomiting -generally 24 hours since the last vomiting episode. It is helpful if your student can eat a meal at home to help determine further nausea/vomiting. *Diarrhea– (consisting of 3 or more watery stools) generally 24 hours since the last episode *Fever– at least 100 degrees or higher.
