NORTON PUBLIC LIBRARY: THE NORTON PUBLIC LIBRARY WILL BE HOSTING THE 2017 SUMMER READING PROGRAM “Build A Better World”. FUN DAY: Eisenhower will hold its Annual FUN DAY to celebrate this school year on Tuesday, May 16th, 2017. The activities will run from 1:00 to 3:15 in the afternoon. Joan Bolt is still looking for volunteers to run the various activity stations. If you are interested, please let the school know. Thanks!
EES AWARDS DAY: The final day of school is Wednesday, May 17th, 2017, which is also when EES has their Awards Day in the morning.
INSTRUMENT DISPLAY: Fourth grade students planning on joining band next year have available an instrument display on Tuesday May 16th, 2017, from 4:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. and 6:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M., in the band room and school cafeteria. This is a “come and go event”, and there is no obligation. If 4th grade parents are interested in knowing more about band for the 5th grade, there will be a question and answer meeting with Mr. Mordecai on Tuesday, May 9th, 2017 from 7:00-8:00 PM in the EES band room.
MOVING??????? We need to know if your address has changed or if you have moved or plan to move this summer. Postcards will be sent to families indicating the time and place to pick up the school packet for the 2017-2018 school year. Please call the office with this information. We don’t want to miss anyone!!! THANK YOU!!!
AR PROGRAM: A special thanks to all the friends of Eisenhower who have donated items for AR since February.
SITE COUNCIL: Eisenhower is still in need of one parent to serve on Site council for the next two years. If you are interested in knowing more about site council, please contact the office and we can explain more in detail what is involved. Meetings are once a month for an hour long. Thanks for your interest.
BOXTOPS: If you have any box tops at home, Mrs. Burton is planning on one more shipment in the next couple of weeks. Thanks!
